Q. Are all soap-free products good for the skin?
A. Soap-free products may contain palmitic acid, lauric acid or myristic acid as cleansing agents. These are very harsh and drying on the skin. It is better to use Bath & Shower Infusion which is made from 100% saponified concentrates of USDA certified organic olive oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil which are not harsh and drying. These saponifed botanical oils cleanse your skin effectively and rinse off thoroughly to give your skin a smooth, luxurious sensation.

Q. Is the cleansing efficiency dependent on the lather?
A. The cleansing efficiency is dependent on the ingredients used and not the lather. We do not use Sodium Laureth Sulphate, a commonly used harsh and drying detergent, which can give rise to skin irritations. We use liquid castile soap made from organic olive oil, jojoba oil and a small amount of coconut oil. The foaming is very soft and fine; sufficient to cleanse skin well and yet it will not cause any sensitive reactions.

Q. Is it good to use those commercial bath and shower creams which are supposed to be very moisturizing for our body?
A. Most commercial bath and shower creams contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate which is very harsh and drying on our skin, so they added in mineral oil and paraffin oil as moisturizers. However, these oils are too rich for our body and the oily residue left behind can clog pores, giving rise to body acne or pimples.

A. Yes, it is very important to use the right body crème which does not contain mineral oil or paraffin oil, which is present in most commercial brands including baby products! The cleansing base of Bath & Shower Infusion composes of 100% saponified concentrates of USDA certified organic olive oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil. These saponifed botanical oils cleanse your skin effectively and rinse off thoroughly to give your skin a smooth, luxurious sensation. Most commercial soaps also use synthetic colours and fragrance. Such synthetic fragrances are extracted with alcohol as a base and they cause skin dryness, and may also trigger headaches and other side effects in people. Bath & Shower Infusions use only 100% pure essential oils, without any synthetic colours or fragrance.

Q. Why is the Bath & Shower Infusion not as concentrated as other commercial brands?
A. A bath or shower gel/cream that is thick does not mean the ingredients are more concentrated. It just means that an industrial detergent such as Sodium Laureth Sulphate has been added as a cleansing and thickening base. It is similar to adding cornstarch to thicken gravy. However, SLS is very harsh and drying on the skin.
